Just stopped in at a Joanne’s Fabrics to get some buttons for my favorite suspenders, which takes me through the mall. Always a weird place. I was / am wearing patches on everything visible. An older persyn took it upon themselves to tell me that “dressing like that won’t get girls to notice (me)”. Inside, I clenched up and was ready to yell profanities. Instead, I managed to hold composure and say “what if I’m not looking to get ‘girls’in to notice me”. They kind of stammered and paused. I let them choke for a second and laughed “you took it upon yourself to take time out of your day to say hello, something must be a working!” I bid them good day and left. I’m kinda happy with myself these days and my ability to stop and think about comebacks of late. (See also: being called a fag for sewing in public) :) Queer punx : 1

I’m looking to move to Boston in late February / early March, but have very little idea where I’d live! I’m asking for some help in seeing if this is a feasible move for me.
